On Thursday, the jury presiding over the Mann vs. Simberg & Steyn defamation case found the defendants liable. (For more details on the case and trial, see here and here.) The jury voted to award Mann one dollar in compensatory damages and one thousand dollars in punitive damages against Simberg. They voted to award one dollar in compensatory damages and one million dollars in punitive damage against Steyn.

At SteynOnline, Amy K. Mitchell correctly titled her post announcing the verdict “A Bad Day for America”.
